SMS Messaging Program & Opt-In

How families opt in to text messages from their holiday character, and the full program terms. This is the opt-in call-to-action for our SMS/MMS program.

1. What the program is

HolidayTexts.com lets a parent or guardian receive personalized, two-way text (SMS/MMS) messages from a chosen holiday character (e.g., Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, the Easter Bunny) on their own mobile phone, to share with their child. Text delivery is optional โ€” email delivery is available instead โ€” so agreeing to texts is never a condition of purchase.

2. How you opt in (the call to action)

The account-holding parent or guardian (18+) opts in on our website during signup. When you add a child and choose Text delivery, you enter the mobile number that should receive messages and check the consent box shown below. Consent is captured per mobile number, at the point you enter it. This is the exact call-to-action a user sees:

3. Program terms & disclosures

SMS & MMS Program Terms
  • Program description. HolidayTexts.com is a parent-authorized, two-way messaging program that delivers personalized SMS (text) and MMS (picture/multimedia) messages from holiday characters (e.g., Santa, Rudolph, the Easter Bunny) to a child under the supervision of the enrolling parent or guardian.
  • How to opt in. The account-holding parent or guardian opts in during signup by providing the mobile number and agreeing to these terms. By opting in you confirm you are the account holder or authorized user of that number and are 18 or older.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on the characters, channels, and settings you choose (for example, seasonal check-ins and replies you request). Recurring messages may be sent.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply. HolidayTexts does not charge for the messages themselves, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply per your plan.
  • MMS specifics. Some messages are MMS and may include images or other media. If your device or plan does not support MMS, you may instead receive an SMS, possibly with a link to view the content.
  • HELP. For help, reply HELP to any message from us, or email support@holidaytexts.com.
  • STOP / opt-out. To cancel at any time, reply STOP to any message from us (you may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT). You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages to that number. You can also manage or pause messaging from your parent dashboard.
  • Carriers. Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's transmission and is not guaranteed.
  • Privacy of opt-in data. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes, and we do not sell this information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Opt out & help

  • Opt out: reply STOP(or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message from us to unsubscribe that number. You'll get one confirmation and no further messages. You can also pause or turn off messaging from your parent dashboard.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@holidaytexts.com.
  • Message frequency varies; message & data rates may apply.
  • Privacy: mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing, and are never sold.
